likely because those sites are specific to your nation not intended to be used by non citizens so it’s a no brainer to deny connections from outside for them. Generally domain providers handle ddos protection as all of my sites and servers do. But it makes sense in this context for sure. Dedicated vpn router is the best bet for permanent solution..in USA some YouTube features are free that aren’t here.
Banks absolutely do not care. But get a SoFi account as it’s better for travel no fees at all. If you really need to be private then get a vpn router but you’ll want a 500mb plan at least 1g speed ideally as it’ll slow you down a lot.
USA has been pushing Thai gov for most favored nation status. This may have something to do with freakishly fast approvals. Question what proof of address did you submit did they ask any questions about current location beyond that?
I’m pretty sure children under 10 years or something like that don’t need a visa as there’s no penalty for not having one. But always good to be thorough.
