Point noted. Although i would like to clarify I didn’t mention that i am unemployed & have therefore shared my work docs & financials with the embassy. We applied under the dependent category as my wife is genuinely training for her Muay Thai in Hua Hin. The dependent category doesn’t mention anything specific about the work scenario to be honest & financial evidence of sustaining can be provided by both the DTV holder & the applicant. Anyways let’s wait for them to get back and i will update.

I am not allowed to work in Thailand locally & i am not working in Thailand but managing my business outside Thailand. I have applied under a dependent category, so i doubt this is a violation of any kind. All my bank statements and clients are all abroad. I have mentioned everything in my cover letter clearly regarding my work situation and there was no objection from the embassy in this matter. In the additional documents they asked for my employment status and I mentioned everything clearly.

Noted. I have also shared my Bank statements for the last six months with a balance of THB 1M every month and also i am a remote worker, so have consistent income in excess of $3000 every month apart from the savings. Total THB 3M+ in savings plus monthly regular income.

Yes closing balance of minimum 500k every month for last 3 months. I recommend you do this or wait & apply. Unless you want to experiment with THB 10k & more importantly wait and be anxious. The more you follow the rules clearly the better the chances.

Please take 1 year minimum. I have had rejection with 6 months all paid for classes & they gave me an ED Visa for 3 months & told me i can extend for another 3 months if needed. Quite a bummer unfortunately 😑
