correct, I spoke with a visa agent yesterday and she said she got back from vacation to find that agents can no longer open bank accounts for those seeking that service. No warning. Agents were blindsided. No matter what visa one has

From the visa agent I talked with yesterday, if anyone wants an agent to or was in the process of having an agent opening a bank account, they are no longer able to. She said she came back from vacation and was blind by this move

it’s visa exemption status. I don’t believe it’s an actual visa . A TDAC is not a visa , it’s an updated electronic version of the, I think, the TM6. It is a Thailand Digital Arrival Card effective May 1, 2025

What are the tax obligations for foreigners living and working in Thailand, especially regarding income brought from abroad?

Both my sources of retirement are from government so I believe they are exempt but I wouldn’t mind paying my fair share to a country that would be gracious enough to allow me to stay a prolonged period of time. Infrastructure isn’t free. What business would survive giving away merchandise /services for free?
