There’s nothing to “understand”based on what they responded to you and nothing you can do unfortunately. How do you want people to help? 😅just have to try again…
yeah that can happen too. That doesn’t take away from what I said. The point was it is more likely that you may have issues if you have history or background with something negative it doesn’t mean you hundred percent will have an issue, but immigration would be more likely to check those people more. So I’m sure there’s many people who still get by fine through immigration such as yourself.
It’s sketchy people with suspicious backgrounds or have a history of negative things immigration related. For people who done it properly like you stated, there’s no issue
Anonymous participant 633 it’s Thailand, lots of things are in writing but not even bothered with by the government themselves. Nothing is consistent with Thailand. The dtv requirements alone vary drastically with each embassy around the globe, so if it’s clearly established with your country then that may not be at that stage yet for all countries
Let’s see how that all happens. So many obstacles, contradictions, etc towards this. I know dozens of foreigners here, and they each know more, everyone is just waiting to see the realistic path to how this will play out. As of now no one’s paying taxes(they all pay taxes in their legal home countries)
The mere fact that DTV holders are not allowed to open bank accounts logically excludes them from having to pay taxes, so let’s see if they change these rules in the near future
I wouldn’t do that if I were you, you’re gonna run into trouble if you’re trying to bounce super quick right when you just got in stay a few days at least.
