I went to my Kasikorn Bank yesterday August 5th. Transfered £12K into my Bangkok Bank. Needed to sign several lots of paperwork, needed passport and bank books. Took almost 45 min at the desk, they also needed my wife's I.D. I tried the same with the app but 50K is the limit and they advise you to go to the bank. All sorted now but it was abit of an effort. But the banks need to be sure because there is so much scamming and fraud going on and you don't want to loose your money. But I must say to everyone reading my post, there is one hell of alot of misinformation on this site, even from people who think they know all the visa rules. I've been misinformed at least 8 times. If you want to know the exact upto date visa rules, go and ask an agent as the rules are changing all the time!

@Nongnuch *******
Thanks Nongnuch. I will just explain what's happened and if you think there will be no problem. The agent fronted the 800K in April, I've been back to the UK and came back on July 25th I immediately put 65K in my Kasikorn Bank and over 500k in the Bangkok Bank which I can top up to 800K tomorrow if needed. Will this be OK?

@Nongnuch *******
Yes! Same as mine. I've started the 65K every 4 weeks with 800K in the bank 3 months before and after I renew. Can I withdraw the 800K the second year if I continue with the 65K each month??

I can certainly recommend this visa service. Came over 3 months ago to sort my retirement, bike and car visa/licence. Went back to the UK and came back last week with my non 0 retirement visa multi entry.

@Brandon ***********
Yes. That's what I mean. It does get complicated and its enough to confuse anybody. I actually pay in 65K every 4 weeks instead of calendar months because that's when my pension is paid. Thanks, Brandon

Yes! You are correct, Brandon. But sometimes the agent on the second year can overcome this, but as your saying I will have 800,000K in my bank account 3 months before & after as well as depositing 65K each month. I'm doing this as a counter measure just in case the agent can't overcome that problem. Sorry I didn't mention this. So asking you a question, Brandon. If I've deposited the 65K each 4 weeks since my first day in Thailand and have 800,000K in the Thai bank 3 months before and after. On the second year can I just deposit 65K each 4 weeks without the 800,000K in a Thai bank? I just need to be clear on this. Thanks.
