James Pawlowski Absolutely true. You require 800,000 baht in Thai bank 2 months prior to applying for a retirement visa and 4 months after! These agencies are not giving you the truth. Should you not believe me ask the immigration office yourself 😔

What tests and requirements do I need to complete when converting my foreign driver’s license to a Thai driver’s license at DLT?

Kevin ********

DLT online training takes approximately 2 hours and consists of watching 4 parts video and answering questions. Presenting your application at DLT requires a doctor's note, proof of address, your visa for Thailand. You will get 4 other tests at DLT (2 hours). Pay 505 baht, photo taken and license issue.

Todd McGowan you can get a Thai driving license by completing DLT online training and further training at DLT office. License cost is 505 baht which I believe is valid for 2 years. Training takes about 4 hours total
