Is it true that DTV visa fees in Thailand have tripled to 30,000 baht?

30,000 for the visa, no problem. 30,000 to apply and get denied for some trivial reason, then have to pay and apply again, unacceptable.

Also, if I pay 30k baht I’d want no problems or questions beyond the routine when entering and exiting..

 yes instantly accessible with a reputable bank in American Express.. planning to use HCMC since I’m not planning on returning to the US anytime soon.
