I come from a communist country where taxi driving was only for dignitaries. even though I live in Thailand and often use taxis because they are very affordable and sometimes cheaper than the metro, I still can't change my approach. I always associate a taxi with something expensive

I haven't had any problems for 10 years when I've been traveling, so I hope it will be fine in Laos too 😊

I'm asking because I'll be on border about 7am. I have appointment in consulate but they gave me number for first part 1-20 what is 9-9:30am. I'm not sure if I'll be there in this time. But i don't see option to reschedule my appointment.
