only a problem if you can't prove where the money came from , just declare the money and if you have evidence that the money is yours and legitimate then your on your way no issues.

I've done it like 20 odd times and longest it taken was 4hours, usually dine in 5seconds if not cancel and try again... only time it's taken days is a deposit into my wise from New Zealand account and I did it on a public holiday .

If you have a thai friend you trust just transfer money from wise into their thai bank and get them to withdraw for you. Transfer is usually done in 5-10seconds

yes but who tells the immigration or police you are working/volunteering.....it's the locals who will dob you in , so yes talking to the chief of the village could combat a report from happening

yip. But in all honesty something you should of researched before buying tickets, and not asking the day before you fly out.
