yeah, I've done that too (pet permit!).

as far as you coming back, it's totally acceptable. as for your 4-legged friend, I'd email the AQS and ask if there are any limitations on re-entry per year. also, if you still have your customs receipt (for your dog), take a picture of it or save it so you don't have to pay again when you come back through (they told me to do this at the customs desk BKK)!

just put exactly what the passport shows bc they are very mechanical in document checking and only look for differences. pain in the boooootay, I know.

I have my USA number on an e-sim and my Thai number on a physical sim card. works nicely bc I can select which sim to use for each call/text and select which sim for data usage (I use my Thai sim for data in Thailand and I use my USA one when traveling elsewhere). very convenient 👍🏼

apply for the METV, it's an E Visa that you can get online from the states 👍🏼 it's good for 6 months, but you can stretch it to 9 months 🤩
