my Thai gf just been to hua hin it was pretty quiet and alot of businesses closed. She sent me pics of Suvarnabhumi and this looked very quiet though I imagine most Chinese and Russians won't be travelling at moment and I guess these make up the bulk of tourism in many places.I am going in June and I don't care as long as I can eat good local food and do plenty of cycling.

if you are unvaccinated you simply need to take a pcr test in your own country and upload it to Thailand pass 72hours or less before departure to Thailand.then no quarantine or messing around with anything.you maybe in Thailand but you didn't read the new rules since May 1st perhaps.

I wasn't keen on ao nang. Very touristy and tacky. Beaches were okay though.couldn't even find authentic Thai food. It was all Indian restaurants trying to make Thai food, bit of a joke really.krabi town was better.
