TLDR : Answer Summary
Users have discussed the requirements and turnaround times for the Thai Pass, particularly for unvaccinated travelers. It appears that unvaccinated individuals must stay in a hotel until they receive the results of their PCR tests, which can take up to 48 hours. The Thai Pass aims for a confirmation turnaround of under 48 hours, provided that a valid PCR test is done before arrival or upon landing.
If not vaccinated you still need to do a hotel stay until your pcr tests come through... this they say can be 48hours for results so you need to find a certified place to stay and be tested on arrival... pcr test before arriving unless has been done 48 hours prior to departure is invalid.... your best of opting for a test before flying or wait until you arrive and pay 350bht for a rapid test
if you are unvaccinated you simply need to take a pcr test in your own country and upload it to Thailand pass 72hours or less before departure to Thailand.then no quarantine or messing around with anything.you maybe in Thailand but you didn't read the new rules since May 1st perhaps.
no, all changed now. Pre flight PCR test for the unvaccinated, uploaded to Thai pass, within 72 hours of flight. Do that and no test on arrival required.
some places where you travel from I've heard if peiole having to do rapid pcr tests on arrival into thailand... unsure if that is all airport or land boarders also depends if your vaccinated or not
we know what they say but thats not the question.the question is has anyone that applied thats unvaccinated by uploading pcr test 72hour before flying ,how long took them to get it back.not one person answered this yet.ill give another hour or two then delete the post.

Think you have to be vaccinated

Been jabbed so not worried could change by end of year when I will be out
I mean the processing time shouldn’t differ either way, vaccinated obviously have the advantage of being able to apply earlier. I’m in the same boat, inconvenient but if you would rather guarantee you can go then do the 5 days.
I seen other people post the average time this week for Thai pass has been about 6 hours but not sure if they were vaccinated or not. Don’t think there should be a difference in processing times either way.
they have reduced that .I know my daughter lives there She had to go into a quarentine hotel until her pcr showed positive .Just for 1 night .But thats scrapped now Just a lateral flow test and I thought show vaccibatiobs You still need covid insurance too .I am going out end of year so thats what I have been told
