all these soft borders or embassies soon got tightened up including savanakhet which of course Is mukdahan crossing for many ..never assume what holds now is ok even tomorrow in Thailand and advertising 0% will draw attention ,,,eventually

an ED VISA is only 3 months old,,then it’s up to the discretion of the immigration officer ,,,normally never a problem ,but it does happen that no extensions are giving

it’s ALWAYS up to the discretion of the officer IF YOU GET IN OR NOT NO Matter how many days is possible

Next time have the passport opened at the page of visa when you present it ,,or at least check they stamp you in properly ,,so check and know number of page with the correct visa

ok ..then it’s good advise …before definitely I didn’t need to leave ,,but maybe different rules for different nationalities ..non the less ,they are an authentic school ,,so their advise is solid….they can also advise her what embassy to go too …she might not have to go back China …she just needs to ask the questions ,,there are lots of Chinese students there
