400 k in the bank, all the flights and the paper work etc.

First get a 3 month then extend to a 12 month.

From the advice I have hear I can work on this visa.

Should be no need to change, the visa.

But I will have to wait and see

I would rather just get a work permit on my o visa that does let me work.

Expensive and time consuming and stressful to get a non o each time my job closes down.

Head hunting is not a good industry in Thailand unfortunately

I really don't want a non b.

If they close the job, I lose my visa and would have to leave my child,

I would prefer to have some control over the ability to stay with her.

This is why I got the o visa.

I had three jobs over hear in the past year and all three of the jobs closed the offices.
