I'm on a multi-entry extension, but it appears this ceases when you apply for the next yearly extension (not the original date), as each year after submitting the paperwork i have to get an additional single re-entry stamp to cover the under consideration period just in case i have to make a trip. (Company pays, so not my money being wasted).

These have been pretty much the requirements in Bangkok for a couple of years, the only other stipulation is they are not 'Selfies'.

, no you can renew upto a year after expiry. But in that year you cant use it to drive as it has expired. It just means that your renewal is still the next logical step. EG your on 2yr, your renewal would still be the 5yr. If you went to renew after the year you would be starting again with the 2yr.

Did my renewal on the 7th, was still pending this morning. Planned to go to office tommorrow, but just got approval late this afternoon, so 13 days pending for me.
