The info on the COE changes therefore get a new one. I had quick turnaround for COE. Little errors on COE, like wrong date for arrival at Tokyo connecting point, were tolerated at transit checkin at Tokyo but if important info was wrong they might not tolerate it. I would not risk it. I would obsessively check accuracy and acceptability of documents and assemble them into a bundle with an index on the front. I saw several people in Tokyo delayed sorting through a messy bundle of documents.
the best thing people could do was to kick back in Thailand for three months , better than stressing and fighting with strangers on Facebook about things you have no control over ! :) cheers
people are stranded all over the world, here i live with Africans, Thais, Chinese, Filipinos who are stranded in the US, people have compassion, time to mellow out, doubt if they are going to throw you all into immigration dungeon ! cheers :)
Months ago everyone who flew into China was tested in 8 hours before entry, little behind the curve here but ahead of US, now the bureaucrats with their never-ending nationalist dream of Thailand for only rich foreigners need to step out of the way and reconnect Thailand to the world to restore 18% of the collapsed economy tied to foreign visitors and residents. Only private enterprise, not govt bureaucrats can accomplish this.
There's money to be made for those who can devise a way to open and control the disease at the same time, let's hope some neighboring country does it soon to spur the others on.
Hawaii, part of America, has zero infections and is negotiating treaties with rich Asian countries like Japan. Don't think Thailand is on the radar though
