You’re on a glorified tourist visa, the DTV. Thailand brought it in because it wants regular or kong stay tourists to stay longer.

You don’t have a work permit and don’t have the same rights as expats or those on that those type of working visas.

Because the DTV is a glorified tourist visa. The rights are limited.

If you want a bank or more rights, you have to get a legit working visa or permit that expats have

it’s pretty easy to obtain though.

And not all digital nomads are influencers. I agree, the latter are knobs. They are cats in real life but on social they are just blah.

That being said, how British is Thailand going to turn do you think? Seems like it’s a British thing right now the DTV, hoping people who come and not wanting to bring their passive aggressive life’s here. Just a thought.. 🫡

construction managers often have to be on site. Hence my question. It’s odd seeing that profession living 12 hours away in a different country.
