If I’m reading the info on the embassy and e-visa sites correctly, is the Non-O visa ONLY for people 50 and over who have monthly income (pension) in addition to the 800,000 baht? Has anyone that doesn’t have a monthly pension but sufficient funds in the bank successfully applied and been approved for a Non-O?

Just when I thought I had it all figured out, I suddenly have more questions!

Here’s another question I have. Does the Non-O you got online start immediately or does Day 1 start the day you arrive in Thailand?

I was shocked they actually answered my emails and were very helpful in November when applying for tourist visa.

I’m waiting on a reply from the embassy in Los Angeles to answer some questions. I’d gotten fairly quick responses from them back in November but it’s been a few days now. Hoping I hear by tomorrow.
