Can’t compare other banks but I used Kasikorn bank (K-Bank) I needed a Thai phone number for the app, a TM30, Passport and copy of my evisa and a rental contract. Once I had all of the documents it was straight forward. Staff were very helpful and it took about an hour to set up. Will help if you have someone who speaks Thai with you.

As many as you want as long as you are a true tourist. If you come on holiday extend and then return home you can come back again. If they see your boarder hopping then you can come for 60 days extend for 30 leave and return for another 60 days. Then I think they’ll give you a further 7 days to leave. That will be it for 12 months. Also remember there is talk of reducing the 60 days to 30 days. In short, the tourist visa exemption scheme is for tourists and cannot be abused any more as a long term option.

If you apply outside of Thailand ie in your own country you can apply in advance. If you’re applying in Thailand you only have the timeframe of your current visa.

Art the moment you will but there are plans to reduce it to 30 days. It may also depend on any other recent visits to Thailand. If you’ve got onward travel arrangements and proof of funds (I think

bht but you’ll have to check) you should be fine.

As long as you have accommodation and a return flight you’ll be fine. Also your history of leaving for the uk will help. I have a friend who comes and goes many times a year on the tourist exemption stamp. He has a Thai girlfriend and always stays at a hotel and has onward or return flights.

I arrived after a short break in Vietnam recently. They wanted to see everyone’s TDAC. You’ll need that, your e visa printed and your passport. I have heard of them asking for onward flight and financial details but didn’t see that happen.
