plenty of bookings to various destinations. First A380 returned on Tuesday to prepare for service. It will be a gradual process because there is a lot to do to make aircraft and staff ready for service. Thai have had 2 flights into Sydney this week carrying passengers and taking to BKK .The Thai Consulate was flat out when I was there this week and staff say they have been hammered and that is walk ins .Many others choose to use post .Those going Visa Free don't need any contact with Embassy. My Thai flight from Sydney to Bangkok in December was roughly half full a few weeks ago when I made booking.

Thai currently doing 2 flights per week into Sydney increasing to 4 or 5 per week soon .Qantas starts January. For fully vaccinated people the situation is getting better than it was a few short weeks ago

Was in Sydney Thai Consulate today and it was busier than I thought but no drama. On line visa application took less than 24 hours .Cashier said it has been busy this week there .

On Monday PR Thai Government site said it was not yet able to be done on a mobile. Maybe not yet rectified

The new rules start for bookings made after November 1 .The rules are not based on when you arrive.

Probably best to do your own comparison based on your needs. Compare what is covered what is not .I was looking the other day and found that AXA did not offer as much benefit wise than Luma did but there are others. See also if there are good feedback to be found through trusted sources.
