Marcin Miśkiewicz you have to carry continued proof of remote work employment with up to date pay slips up to date proof of employment etc … misunderstanding what the DTV is unfortunately led to this sad situation. At this point they are better to contact an agent to help this get everything done properly.. so they can return … I wish it was different. My Daughter was banned when very young from the US because she did not listen to me when she tried to go down to live with her boyfriend… it took 5 years before she could enter again. Thailand’s rules are much less draconian. Good luck to getting this all sorted out.

I forgot to mention the lower cost and requirements for long term visa and after 5 years one can even apply for citizenship… seems much more straight forward…. Love Thailand 🇹🇭 and Sri Lanka as well ..I am a hard core snorkeller so Sri Lanka wins ..

he probably brought over an older model that was locked to a certain provider… that was the case with many types of phones not just iPhones .. at least in Canada one cannot see a locked phone to customers any longer and it has been this way for years.

given that the eye phone is a case that has nothing to do with thailand or any Thai cell service provider. Most likely a defective product. And given that the eye phone is a case it is not possible that it is locked to a home network.. so the OP still seemed to be retiring to iPhones

this is not correct. iPhones work in Thailand. You just need to have an unlocked phone of any make … which I and many others do 🙏🙏🙏🙏

when you go the visa site the Non O visa is actually under the “other visas” link… then look for the retirement option…

You are actually applying for a 90 day visa which you will then open a bank account in Thailand and then apply for a year extension.. hope that makes sense now
