oh thanks for the advice mum I have only been living in Thailand 6 years with my Thai wife , daughter , step son with 2 cars and 2 motorbikes. All paid for apart from the big family car . Why wouldn’t you get a car loan with next to nothing interest.

I was under the impression that you will need a Thai work permit to get a loan , if you have Thai wife you can put it her name . That’s what I did

my daughter has Thai and British passport , the way I see it she can use her Thai passport for ease of entry into Thailand and other border countries and uk passport for the majority of the rest of the world. 😊.
