correct. The closest I found for approved Evisa application is Hong Kong.
S Korea and Japan work also.
You can put your passport country and the country you are trying to apply from into the system on the Thai evisa site and it will tell you if you are approved.
Also, it takes 7-10 days per the website so you will be visiting a host country a bit longer than making an appointment at a Thai embassy (2-3 day turn)

I initially entered Bkk on 60 day TV and 1 30 day extension.
I must leave at the end of the month. Iām in Nong Khai so I will take the bridge, but Monday is a holiday and I canāt stay that long in Vientiane so I plan on just doing a land exempt 30 day this time.
Itās just exhausting doing the countdown every 30-60 days and expensive.
