Your being overcharged. Typical Thai business sense, or lack there of…. Instead of discounting to generate business, they are doubling to make up for the short fall. Shop around till you find a smart business person

How can I open a bank account in Thailand as a tourist without a work permit?

Good luck. It’s a complete waste of time. You can’t open under a tourist Visa. I tried 7 different banks and branches.

They all want this letter and that letter. Nothing consistent. I finally gave up and went to an agency where you can pay a “fee” and bazinga, you have a Bangkok bank account. Thai mafia is strong.

I’m staying at the Bella Villa Metro (Pattaya). 30k with a large Seafront terrace. Big suite with a full kitchen. Crazy amounts of food. Lots of good feed back.
