Hi everyone,

I will be going to Thailand on a 30 day visa exempt trip.

On my Thai Pass application, am I required to show proof of advance payment/bookings for accommodation for the full period of my stay?

I am unsure of my movements within Thailand and prefer to arrange accommodation as I go, once I am there.

If proof of all accommodation is required, does the Thai Pass allow for uploading multiple hotel bookings/ receipts?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether proof of accommodation is necessary for a 30-day visa-exempt trip to Thailand, expressing a preference to book accommodations after arrival. Responses indicated that such proof is not required beyond the initial booking. Additionally, there was discussion about the use of FWD insurance for the Thai Pass application, including concerns about its waiting period and approval for use.

Hi, anyone buy FWD insurance, can it be used for new Thai Pass application effective 1st May? There is a waiting period 14 days.

It mentioned “Our plans have 14 days waiting period or the insured shall provide negative PCR test result within 72 hours prior to the policy effective date”

I am fully vaccinated (3 shots). I don’t plan to take pre-departure PCR test.

This is the cheapest one. I don’t want to buy this insurance and get rejected or have to take PCR test.

Thanks to share your experience.

Yes, the document for FWD comes within 5-30 minutes. It's just that if you don't meet their terms, you can't even use it if you got sick or anything.

Can still be used for Thailand Pass.

Thanks. I had checked this website. FWD is the cheapest one only 650 Baht and the rest are double or triple the price. But FWD put 14 days waiting period. That’s why I am asking whether this insurance is approve for Thai Pass application

Indeed. I just shared my reservation for test and go and everything went well

There's no more hotels or testing. They ask you for your address on the application but it's just the first place you're going after you arrive.
