Two words. Self insure. Save a fortune. Avoid the insurance mafia. Just say NO!

sure. Always a risk. Living in Thailand makes it affordable to take that risk, rather than be a slave to silly mafia price hikes.

It's a scheme by which you pay a premium to cover the costs of medical expenses should you happen to fall ill

If you’re asking for advice on a topic, at least have the courtesy to structure your enquiry so that people don’t need to play guess the question!

Are you enquiring about a referral, a recommendation, a requirement, people’s general opinion or something else?

honestly all of the above. I wanted to know more? is it necessary and is there even option out there for expats. More importantly how much are health checkups or hospital stays. I know it all depends etc so that’s just too much to say but as you can see below ppl are helping. I appreciate it. Looks like it’s not important until it is. Cash is king.

What about it dani ?

Before you fall for some of the not so good ones PLEASE google review the companies and don’t fall for anyone just selling their own products.. go independent where they look at the whole market for you and choose the most appropriate
