What are some recommendations for health insurance for expats retiring in Thailand?

hi Colin, I don’t normally speak bad of any company in Thailand, but on this occasion save yourself the pain of using this company. I would use AXA or Tokio marine if I had my time again.

yes, just had surgery for tongue cancer and also doing radiation treatment, they never respond to emails. They are trying to say my cancer was caused by a STD, which at 60 years old and have been married for 34 years is ridiculous. Well had the tests to rule it out, tests were negative. Not good enough for them they want more tests done. I have been with them for nearly 4 years, have never been sick a day in my life, but when I told them about the cancer they said as you are a fairly new customer you will have to pay upfront and try and claim it back. The claims department never return calls or emails, once you have paid they use the Ostrich method, just put the head in the sand and hope you go away. I can see this heading for legal action. I have a few friends here in Thailand who have also had many problems with them, please look at another company, as when it comes time you use your health insurance you will be be hung out to dry by them. Just look around and beware of Pacific Cross
