Which type of travel health insurance do you recommend for Thailand?
I plan to stay 2 or 3 months as a tourist. I am from a small country in South East Europe. Should I have it from my country or from some international provider? Or maybe I can have local health insurance from Thailand?
Of course, I am healthy, but just in case to have it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The best type of travel health insurance for a 2-3 month stay in Thailand can vary depending on individual needs. While there is no mandatory insurance for tourists, it is recommended to choose a policy that offers adequate medical coverage. Options include travel insurance from your home country, which may provide benefits like emergency evacuation back home, or local Thai insurance which may be simpler for claims. Some caution that annual travel policies may limit coverage to 30 days per country, and expatriate medical insurance could be more comprehensive. The general consensus is that dealing with a provider from your home country may simplify the claims process.
Note most annual travel insurance only gives 30 days per country. You actually need expatriate medical insurance, which may or may not include air ambulance.
Travelinsurance from you home country, may include ambulanceflight back to you home country, and eventually to get relatives call to hospital in Thailand.
Any locally sourced travel insurance with medical cover wiill suffice. There is no mandatory insurance required for tourists now so your free to choose what best suits your needs.
