Does anyone know if I have insurance in the US and it covers emergencies anywhere in the world if I would still have to buy insurance in Thailand on long term visa. Yes I would have to pay and they reimburse. Showing enough funds in bank account to cover the 3 million policy isn’t a a problem.
( I know the "O" does not require health insurance). For anyone on an O-A visa, this is required Foreign Insurance Certificate: As stipulated by the Office of Insurance Commission and Health Insurance of Thailand, this certificate must be completed, signed, and stamped by the insurance company. Has anyone had luck with that specifically BCBS Federal? TIA!
For Aussies, coming next money. Q- If I get an O retirement Visa in Aus before I come. I don't need health insurance, 30 day extensions, do visa runs or anything like that, yes/ no. If so, anyone remember how much they paid for the visa please.
My apologies in advance if this question has already been asked… With a retirement, non-immigration O visa, is international health insurance required? I’m getting conflicting information From what I’m reading online and what I’m hearing from an immigration consultant. Online it says that I have to have it, but my consultant tells me no.
I entered Thailand on an O Retirement Visa and now need to extend it. For the visa itself, I did not need to provide proof of health insurance, but I’ve read that such proof is required for the extension. If this ist right, does anyone have experience with the combination of German Beihilfe and private insurance, and how this can be documented in a way that is accepted by the immigration office? Could somebody give me advice?
I would like to ask for some insight from those who have recently renewed a retirement visa… I applied from within Thailand and received my one-year extension back in December. At that time, because I applied from within the country, I did not have to submit health insurance documentation. I have read some updates lately that sound like now all initial and renewal applications will require proof of min 3M THB in health insurance coverage in order to be approved… I have done all of my applications on my own and would like to know from others recent experience, will I need to prepare health insurance documents for my next renewal? Thank you in advance.
Hi, a question for Aussies. Has anyone applied for the 90 day non immigrant visa in Australia. I wanted to know if you had to have health insurance when applying?
Looking at the OA visa, applying from the UK. I have a question about the 'certificate of criminal record clearance '. I can get a DBS check that costs £21.50, or an ACRO certificate which costs £68. Is the DBS sufficient or do I need to go all in with the ACRO?
