Hello I did my Retirement Visa in Samui. I am moving to BKK. Is there anything I need to be aware of? Do I need to visit Samui Immigration before I leave or Bangkok when I arrive? My next 90 day check in I should be in Bangkok. Thank you for your help xxx

Hi all, I am planning on leaving Thailand for a bit, a few years probably. Back home if I can call it that. I have a type o multi entry and I have to exit again around the beginning of June but I will leave in July . I have always been registered at immigration in Surin when I used to do the yearly extensions but now I am selling up and by that time I will be fully in Bangkok. Will I get any issues if I go for the extension based on visiting family doing that in Bangkok which I believe will be cheaper than border hopping? Due to lack of passport pages the options of border hops are limited to Myanmar or Malaysia. Thanks for any advice :)
