Hi all, my dtv (muay Thai) was approved in Hanoi a few days ago and I’m back in Thailand. Now my wife needs to go and get her dependent dtv. Can anyone that went through this process list all the documents they submitted? She has her own account with 500k to show, should I still include a sponsor letter?

Also, I was recommended to go to Hanoi because apparently they are more lenient there, is it also true for dependents visa, or can she go to HCMC? (Easier to get to from Phuket)

Hello everyone! I (Austrian) have applied for the German Residence Permit (DTV). How long does it take to apply for family members? My husband is German and lives in Austria. Is there anything to consider with different citizenships or sth else?

What do I need to bring with me to make sure this goes smoothly?

I know I need a bank statement saying I have had 400k baht in a bank account for 2 months.

I will have my wife with me, and our marriage license with us

I will have $200 (is it okay if it's in baht and not USD? All the sources I find just say $200) because I want it to be multi-entry.

Anything else?

Once I get my Affadavit and divorce decree translated to Thai for marriage and bring it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs do they certify it the same day?

Marriage license: I’m a Uk national and I want to marry my Thai girlfriend. The steps as far as I understand:

1) Book an appointment for the marriage

2) book appointment with Uk embassy; get certificate from Uk Bkk embassy that I’m free to marry

3) get translated

4) get married

My question is in the case of a past divorce in Germany, does it need to be translated into english and then also into Thai?

My second question is: is there any way to avoid going to Bkk for the certificate and thus avoid 2 week quarantine?

Dependant Non imi O extention:

We have a marriage licence from Gibraltar in english with an apostille from Gibraltar.

We also have the international birth certificate

from Spain for our daughter with an apostille from Spain.

But we were just told by HR that we need to get those documents certified by the embassys of each country here.

Which makes no sense cause they already have been certified in each country!

Is this still true?

Not really a TV question, but I'm sure you guys have experience. Thai wife with Thai passport and US green card... Traveling to Korea from the US, then to Japan, back to Korea, and then onward to Thailand. Her passport uses her maiden name, and her ticket uses her married name. In the past, United and Thai Air didn't give us any grief over this as we showed our marriage license. Korean air is now saying that her ticket must match her passport. But are they just saying that is their policy? Because CBP and the Korean consulate have said our documentation is fine for travel. Would korean air really block her from boarding? Thanks so much for any real experience in this matter, particularly with Korean air.
