Finally getting my "Stay based on Marriage" visa. Have all the appropriate paperwork and copies ready. Wife and I were married about 3 years ago in Bangrak. Read somewhere that our marriage certificate can not be older than 6 months. Anyone know if this is true?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a 'Stay based on Marriage' visa in Thailand and seeks clarification on whether their marriage certificate must be less than 6 months old. Comments indicate that while some immigration offices may require a Kor Ror 2 form as confirmation of marriage, at least one user successfully obtained their visa with a certificate older than 6 months.

Some Immigration Offices require a Kor Ror 2 form, you can get at the Amphur and it is just a confirmation that you are still officially married.
