TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the confusion faced by an expat regarding the documents needed for a marriage visa in Thailand, especially after being married for 6 years. Despite having valid marriage papers, the individual is asked for a 'capacity of marriage' document. Commenters suggest that a Kor Ror 2 confirmation from the local Amphur office, indicating the marriage is still registered, may also be required. There is an offer of assistance from locals in Ubon Ratchathani to navigate the immigration process.

How ironic. We both got married in Koh Chang and we both live in Ubon! Go to Rajabhat University Immigration Centre and ask again. If you PM me your Number I can have an Immigration Officer from there to call you to assist if easier ?

when you want to married you need capacity of marriage but for Visa? my marriage is correct registered at amphoe Koh Chang

Maybe not sure if that is what they need. Did you go to Siriton or Rajhabat Immigration? Generally they just want the Amphur to confirm you are still registered as Married. Which is easy.

Any case I see you are in Ubon. We have a large Group here too.

It’s not a joke. Kor Ror 2 is what they need from you. Go to your local amphur district for a copy at THB20 ea.

I think you mean the Kor Ror 2, document for the local Amphur that your marriage is still registered.

Do you mean Marriage Certificate ?
