TLDR : Answer Summary
For translating and certifying your marriage license from the USA in Bangkok, users recommend services like Asian Translations and Express Translation. To locate these services, you can perform a Google search. Additionally, there were discussions about obtaining a Yellow Book and the process involved with marriage registration at the British Embassy, which highlights the steps for expatriates marrying in Thailand.

Quick question I went to the British Embassy and registered to prove I'm single eligible to marry a Thai woman I was told it had to be translated my wife found someone who could do it we went 24 hours we then went to the other building after a bit of a weight hanging around they came out with a Red marriage certificate book but they never seem to get me my English version back that I got from the embassy saying that I was single infant until nice arts out her visa stuff I didn't even get the married certificate as it was in Thai on both sides any advice on this ? If that's the norm would be helpful

unless you already have a long term visa you won't get a yellow book.

You don't need a yellow book to get your marriage certificate translated and certified. Plenty of translators around the Embassy.
