My multi entry retirement visa expires December 12, 2024. What's the earliest date I can apply for renewal?

I'm trying to plan some overseas travel around that time.

I'm currently on a Multi-Entry Retirement Visa and am about to fly to the US. I am unsure whether I need to get a re-entry permit before going to the airport or not? The next two days are holidays - will the international terminals have someone staffed to take care of it for me at the airport? I'll be arriving at Suvannabhumi at 4am for a 7am flight - would the re-entry permit booth even be staffed at that hour anyway?

I’m a multi entry retirement one year visa holder going back to the Uk for 8 weeks.

On my return to Thaikand what do I need to prepare as I will have a return flight and my visa is valid? Of course I know I will have to do quarantine.
