DTV - Soft Power

Hi everyone!😊

My boyfriend and I are planning to move to Thailand from Japan this year! 🇯🇵✈️🇹🇭

I’m thinking of applying for the DTV under the Soft Power category, and my boyfriend has already been issued a work visa through a Thai company.

I have a question for those who might have experience with this.

Although I meet the required savings amount, I understand that the Soft Power DTV does not allow employment. To strengthen (ensure) my application, I’m considering submitting my boyfriend’s job offer — which includes his salary — as an additional supporting document, since we will be living together.

Do you think this would help my application in any way?

Thank you in advance for any advice! 🙏✨

I do apologize if this isn't the correct forum for this question. I just didn't know who to ask.

Would someone be allowed to conduct business here via the internet if they are on a tourist visa? Specifically.. if someone was contracted and being paid a salary by a Chinese company to teach Chinese students in china. ?

Would this be illegal ? Or is this no different from a business person on holiday here and still taking care of his business while on holiday here . ..

Thanks in advance

I'm still not quite sure whether this is a visa question or not. I guess it could be 🙂
