Hello. I have ED visa (it looks like a stamp in my passport without a sticker), to which i have switched last year from APEC-stamp entry. My current ed visa expires on Feb. 28th (due to last extension made in December).
Feb. 28th is Sunday and i plan to get 60 days COVID-extension.
My ED visa and extensions were made in Huahin but i currently live in Bangkok. Unfortunately my apartment haven't submitted tm.30 as well.
Please, advise to me how should i act now to not get overstay? I see these ways:
1. To go to Bangkok immigration on a working day in advance before the visa expiration (28th) to get clarification from them if i can apply for covid-extension in Bkk immigration, having visa opened in Huahin immigration.
* Not sure if i will have to cancel my ed visa in advance in Huahin to apply for COVID-extension in Bangkok.
* Also not sure if i will have to have tm.30 or if i will able to get it just having lease agreement with my apartment.
* And don't get if i actually can apply for covid extension in Bangkok but not Huahin before my visa is expired or have to cancel it with a letter from the school first?
2. To go to Huahin immigration to cancel my ED visa first and get covid extension there at the same day. Not sure if i will have to go there again after actual visa finished. Also probably i just can to go there on March 1 to get covid extension, and they won't apply overstay on me?
Thus, i'm confused how should i do, mostly because of my ED visa (last extension) expired on Sunday and don't want get overstay on it, as well, as it would be more convenient to apply for COVID extension in Bangkok even though ED visa made in Huahin imm.
Will be grateful for an advice and want thank for the help in advance.
