Hello All ❣️

How far in advance do we need to cancel our extension of stay based on our education visa? 

We have US passports our current extension expires 11 November. Our plan is to request a letter from our school stating our last day of class is Friday 8 November.

We are planning to take the bus to Mae Sai on 5 November and go to immigration to report our TM 30 on 6 November.

We want the letter to state 8 November so that there is no chance we will be in overstay.

You can usually go a week before your termination date on the paper fro the school. The immigration office (as long as you're NOT in Phuket) will cancel your extension and stamp you in until the termination date on the paper. Then you can leave when ever you want up to that date.
