Hey Guys, if I have overstayed in Thailand for a day (reason: miscalculated the date), is it still possible to apply for DTV?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus is that a one-day overstay in Thailand is considered a minor issue and should not significantly impact your ability to apply for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa). Many users have reported successful applications even after longer overstays, as long as other requirements are met and there are no criminal records. However, caution is advised if stopped during departure, as any overstay might cause complications.

If you get stopped on route out of Thailand, it can give you big problems, ever only overstaying shortly.

It's a minor issue, nothing to worry about. It will not affect your application

40 days overstay and successfull 😁. Visa agent keep my passport. I changed new passport and get DTV

Never leave your passport in the hands or others.

You are obligated to be able to confirm you identity on demand at ALL times.

Don’t forget that facerecognition is used by both cctv and scanners on police vehicles.

Changing passport will not help, since Immigration have both your face and fingerprints to identify you.

Yes a day is misdemeanor imo as long as you have no criminal record in Thailand or abroad you should be fine if you meet the other criteria

Yes. People have been posting they got the DTV even after being blacklisted for an overstay. The length of blacklist suggests an overstay of over a year :-)
