I have an overstay on my passport from last year - it should have been a day, but due to flooding and the immigration office being closed, it became 8 days. Has anyone had experience of getting a DTV specifically in London, with an overstay on their passport?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses an individual's experience with an 8-day passport overstay due to unforeseen circumstances and inquires about applying for a DTV (Digital Tourist Visa) in London. The comments suggest varied opinions, indicating that an overstay may not significantly hinder the application process, especially if it was a one-time situation and fines have been paid.
Yeah as it is MFA issuing it not Immigration. MFA does not really seem to care :-) Thai Fiefdoms. I am assuming the MFA can see all the persons immigration record.
I woukd think so for most. Agents can make most issues dissappear. An older guy who drank in same bar as us in Bamgkok had a6 year overstay disappear and a new O Retirement included for the 400k fee a couple of years ago :-)
He had a hip replacement at Bumrungrad. How he did it on overstay was a mystery to us. They want passport and visa details. At least they have when ai hace gone and used that place for 25++ years
