Will a 1.5-hour overstay after my tourist visa expires cause problems at Thai immigration?

Hi, our Tourist Visa is valid until November 17th. Our airline has changed the flight schedule and pushed our already booked flight from 17th 1:30 a.m. to 18th 1:30 a.m. So technically we would overstay 1,5 hours. Do you think this could cause problems at the immigration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about a potential 1.5-hour overstay due to a change in their flight schedule, which is set to depart just after their tourist visa expiration. Community responses indicate that overstaying under 24 hours generally incurs no fines, only a small stamp in the passport. Recommendations include checking in early and clearing customs before midnight on the visa expiration date to avoid any complications.

As a general rule there is no fine for an overstay of under 24 hours and all you get is a small stamp in your passport next to your departure stamp

It's ok for one day i did it before they not charge you anything under 24hours of overstay

In general absolute no problem.

You probably will go through customs still on the 17th.

Check in few hours early

I hope you mean that your Admitted Until date is 17th Nov and not the enter before/valid until date on your tourist visa. On the airport with International flight they will stamp your passport but not charge you for the 1 day overstay.

Robert's advice is correct. I had a similar experience to yours. I stressed about whether to spend the time and money on a 30 day extension. In the end I showed up at immigration with a 500 baht note but did not need it.

Check in and clear passport control before midnight on the 17th

Seems like the obvious solution here, if you want to avoid any stamp/issue at all.
