Visa question: I want to stay in Bangkok for five months, starting on January 15th. I have a U.S.A passport. I was in Bangkok for 30 days from December to January 4th. I'm in Cambodia now. What is the best approach?

Can someone make any sense of this. Little confused.

Single Entry Visa will be valid for 3 months from the date of issue. You must enter Thailand within the validity of visa. However, the permitted length of stay is up to 90 days from the date of your arrival in Thailand. Please carefully note the immigration stamp in your passport to make sure that you do not overstay your visa.

Does it mean I have 3 months to enter Thailand and then get the 90 days or its only valid for 3 months entirely

My E-visa application was approved today. I was quite happy as it says the length of stay in Thailand is 60 days. But then I noticed the visa condition stating"Intend to stay in Thailand not exceed 25 days".

Does that mean, I'm not allowed to stay a day more than 25 days?

And if I wanna stay longer, what are the possible thinhs I could do?

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, just a quick one coming in on a exemption30 days on arrival but I want to stay 7-8 weeks this time can this day 30 visa exemption on arrival be extended in country ? Or do I need to do a border run and come back in again. Tried a search but couldn't find direct answer to this.

I recall something about extending stay at local immigration office for 1900 baht is that right.

Thanks in advance

This is taken from the London Embassy website, relating to Non-immigrant Visas (including Type O):

'Multiple Entries Visa will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue. You must enter Thailand within the validity of visa. However, the permitted length of stay is up to 1 year from the date of your arrival in Thailand. Please carefully note the immigration stamp in your passport to make sure that you do not overstay your visa.'

This seems to say that the multi-entry visa is stamped allowing a visit length of one year. I'm a little confused as previous remarks in the group have implied that the length of stay is only 90 days. Can anyone clarify this?

I have been offered 6months work . I could possibly holiday to make it 3 months out a time or just stay out 6 months.
