Hi guys, just a quick one coming in on a exemption30 days on arrival but I want to stay 7-8 weeks this time can this day 30 visa exemption on arrival be extended in country ? Or do I need to do a border run and come back in again. Tried a search but couldn't find direct answer to this.

I recall something about extending stay at local immigration office for 1900 baht is that right.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend your initial 30-day exemption on arrival for an additional 30 days at your local immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht. It's also important to ensure that your accommodation provider processes the TM30 form for you, as this is necessary for the extension. Note that the ability to extend may depend on your passport nationality.

That's Ok to get 30day extension. Just make sure the place you stay will do a TM30 for you.
