TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, Lisa, seeks advice on managing a 33-day stay in Thailand due to the absence of a 60-day visa option. Several comments suggest applying for a tourist visa from a Thai embassy, which typically grants a 60-day stay. Others note that the 45-day exemption has reverted to 30 days, and that travelers might extend their stay by 30 days inside the country for a fee. It's also important to check with the airline regarding requirements for onward travel to avoid boarding issues.

and as you can see,

you could CONTACT your air carrier and see if they will let you fly with onward travel dated further out than your entry stamp will be & once you're here get the 30 day extension

OR

you can buy a single entry tourist visa from the thai consulate in your country before you you come. <- which covers the proof of onward travel requirement your airline might have AND gives you the time you want here without going to the immigration office for an extension ๐Ÿ™‚

Emirates in the UK are pretty hot on trip length, just get a visa or rent/buy an onward ticket.

Apply a tourist visa from the Thai embassy in your home country should give you 60 days.

you never could get a 60 day visa showing up here ๐Ÿ™ you always bought that from a thai consulate before you came here .

AND

The 45 day free visa exempt entry went back to the 30 days it always was on Apr 1st, 2023.

You won't have any issue stamping IN to the country if you manage to board your flight with proof of onward travel dated further out than your stamp will be

BUT

Check with your air carrier to see if they'll let you board with no visa to thailand and proof of onward travel dated like that..

You can get a 30 day extension inside the country for 1900baht at the immigration office where you stay after you're here which will cover the 3 days you need

Emirates are pretty strict with you showing tickets, that match length of time allowed to stay.

most people have found the work around to this issue by using a refundable ticket some place within the length of their visa or exempt entry period
