Hi all, me and my friend want to visit Thailand, we have a flight December 2nd. Could anyone tell me is it best for us to go on a visa exemption, get a single entry tourist visa and do a border run or get a multiple entry visa? We want the opportunity to stay for as long as we like before moving on..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The best visa option for long stays in Thailand depends on your intended duration and travel plans. A visa exemption allows for 75 days, while a single entry tourist visa permits 90 days before requiring a border run. A multiple entry tourist visa can provide up to 9 months, but it entails at least two border runs and need to show proof of travel plans during application.

No visa will let you stay as long as you like. They all have limits.
Visa exempt will get you 75 days inside of Thailand before you have to do a border run.
A single entry tourist visa will get you 90 days inside of Thailand before you have to do a border run.
A multiple entry visa can get you around 9 months but you will have to do at least 2 border runs. In order to get a multiple entry tourist visa, you will need to prove your need during the application process. Usually showing a flight into Thailand, a flight out of Thailand, and a flight back into Thailand at least.
