To stay in Thailand from November 23, 2024, to March 31, 2025, one recommended approach is to utilize the visa exemption option for 60 days upon arrival, followed by a 30-day extension at an immigration office. After this, you can perform a border run to obtain another 60 days. Thus, you would initially stay for 60 days, extend for 30 days, and then use a border run to effectively reset your status for another 60-day stay.

I’m doing the same I’ll be there from the 15th but I’ll leave to Bali re enter.. get my new 60days apply for my 30 day extension.. then I’ll go over to Cambodia for a week. Come back to Thailand re enter then do the same thing. It’s easy just don’t over stay and leave before your actual 90 days are up

you could save the 30 days extension and it's 1900.- THB fee, if you did a border run before the first 60 days expire, and you stay on holiday in a neighbour country for 8 days, before you re-enter Thailand on another visa-exempt 60 days

30 day extension is in many places cheaper than going to another country, especialy if staying outside of Thailand, for several days instead of going back to Thailand within minuttes.
For a border crossing a day is lost to do things, that in worst case can be done in a couple hours at a Immigration office.
Your best option would be to use 60 day visa exemption, extend once for 30 more days, and do a border bounce to get 60 again. Or plan a short trip in the region, then your incurred time and cost have a second purpose and aren't wasted.

- but you are not supplying an answer either. Oops…. [Benny, if eligible for visa exempt, you can enter for 60 days, then can apply for 30 extension. Then you need to exit the country, maybe Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam, then enter back and receive another 60 day exemption which again can be extended by 30 days at an immigration office. If not from a county that is listed as visa exempt, you would need to apply for tourist visa in advance, and then apply for a second one when you exit and before you return]
