TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the bank statement requirements for applying for a new Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) at the Thai consulate in Los Angeles, as the consulate's website does not specify a required amount or duration for the bank statement. A comment suggests that a minimum balance of US$7,000 is needed.

It's 7K USD for sure but there is no amount of time it needs to be in the account like other consulates require.
