TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing difficulty obtaining bank statements for their Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) application in London, as their bank does not provide statements for months without transactions. Other users suggest solutions such as getting balances through internet banking, printing them out, and having them stamped. Additionally, there are concerns over the acceptance of these documents for the visa application, emphasizing the importance of confirming requirements with the embassy.

If your going to attempt a way to do it which isn't specified, I would find out if it is going to be accepted or your going to lose £150. There are no refunds on denied applications.

Here's the list of the UK Thai consulates

you could, if you was near one, just go to a Thai consulate and get a METV or SETV on the same day. That way, you only pay if you get the visa. Just check the consulates out as some you need an appointment as they can keep odd hours of when they are open

Thank you

Everybody is working blind with the single entry requirements as none of them were ever required before the 15th June.

single entry just says this. Doesn't state the length of bank statements or amount of funds

For Single Entry (stay up to 60 days)

A current passport with validity not less than 6 months and at least 2 blank pages. Applicants must fill in online visa application with their given name(s) and surname as appear in their passports.

Printout of visa application form submitted online, with bar code

Travel booking confirmation

Proof of accommodation in Thailand e.g. hotel booking, invitation letter from family or friend in Thailand

Financial evidence e.g. bank statements, proof of earnings, sponsorship letter

Confirmation of legal residence in the UK or Ireland (if applicants are not nationals of these countries) e.g. long stay visa, residence permit, BRP card

Am i right in thinking it's just 1 statement for the SETV? Or any proof of funds. Bit confused by what it says on the London Embassy site. Thank you

I just gave them a call and the woman said it would be fine to just send copy of bank balance. She was really chilled and seemed like it didn't even matter. Still not totally convinced but i guess it's fine.

Ok thanks, I think I will give them a ring. Don't really want to lose £150

Print it out then go to a branch and get it stamped.

Best to check with your bank before submitting your application as Ron Angel says.
Biff *******
Yeah, I reckon so. They want to see that you've had the money there for six months. That will show them that.

I can only print out the balance for each month as I don't have a statement for non active months. Do you think the balance with a official stamp will be ok?
Wayne ***************
ORIGINAL POSTER
I can however print out the balance for each month . But it's not the same layout as a statement. It's just downloading screen shots of my balance for every month.
Wayne ***************

Just seen your above reply, so it's 6 months. Thanks

Wow I'm stuck then. Do you think a stamped copy of balance would work? Is it one month now or still 6? Thank you Ron .
Ron *******
@Wayne **************
it needs to be an original statement with a bank stamp.
Patrik ********
Do you have internet banking? If not, just call the bank and ask them for a statement.
Ron *******
They require 6 months for METV. 1 month for O-A visa.
