Hello,

I am thinking about applying for a DTV (workation) in Taipei.

I transferred 500,000 THB to my bank account on August 21 and would like to apply around October 21.

I know that it is recommended to keep the funds for at least 3 months, but my tourist visa is about to expire.

Has anyone had experience in Taipei applying with the money kept for only 1–2 months, and was it accepted?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering applying for a DTV (workation visa) in Taipei after transferring 500,000 THB to their bank account just over a month ago. They are concerned about the recommendation to keep funds for at least three months because their tourist visa is nearing expiration. Comments from others suggest it may be possible to be approved with shorter deposit periods, but one recommends applying for a 30-day extension first as a precaution.

Why not get a 30-day-extension first? Just to be safe...

I was approved with a week or so old deposit in Taipei last Dec. I think they still approve with recent deposits so you should be ok
