Concerning my Thai visa monthly deposit requirements . If I deposit the equivalent USD of over 65,000 baht from my monthly pension in my US Citibank account per month and move to Bangkok is Citibank US and Citibank Bangkok intertwined? Thanks for any help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Citibank accounts in the US and Thailand are not interconnected. To meet visa requirements while depositing over 65,000 baht, you must establish a Citibank account in Thailand, which typically requires a substantial initial deposit, often around 1 million baht.
The Citibank US and Citibank Thailand accounts are not linked together. You will have to open a Citibank account in Thailand. Unlike most banks in Thailand, Citibank requires a high first deposit (I think something like 400K THB when I asked). Most banks, like Bangkok Bank or KTB, require about 1K THB deposit
